Tournament Descriptions
Power League(s)
The majority of the season’s tournament participation will take place in the two top leagues for girl’s volleyball in Illinois: The WCPL & CVL. This series of tournaments will run from January through March/April and feature teams from all over the state. The WCPL is the most competitive competition in the area. The CVL is a great league for our teams to grow, it is important for our teams to participate in these leagues for each of their developments throughout the season. In the WCPL, our 1s teams will compete over the course of the season to qualify for the USAV National Championship — similar to the regular season of a school or professional sport. This creates an especially competitive play between teams.
Travel Tournaments
Additionally, all of our teams will participate in travel tournaments. The 1s teams will potentially travel to the following tournaments next season. 25 President’s Day Classic (St. Louis), 25 NIKE Mideast Qualifier (Indianapolis OR St. Louis), JVA World Challenge (Louisville, KY), 2025 Mizuno Diggin in the Dells (Wisconsin Dells, WI), AAU National Championships (Orlando, FL). The 2s, 3s and 4s+ will travel to all the above except the JVA World Challenge. Our 1s & 2s teams will travel to Orlando for AAU’s or if they qualify for USAV through the WCPL they will attend that.
AAU National Championships
The AAU National Championships are the premier competition for all volleyball teams around the country. The AAU National Championships have grown to greater heights and is now the largest and most competitive tournament of the year. With six different divisions (Open, Premier, Club, Aspire, Spirit, Classic), every team has an opportunity to compete for a National Championship at this event.
