Tim Maruyama is the Founder and Owner of 630 Volleyball. He founded the club in 2012 and rebranded as 630 Volleyball in 2018. Within the first year, found great success with the program. During the first year, the club finished 3rd in the U.S with for the highest number of National Bids earned. Since 2018, the club continues to grow and be successful.
Alongside 630, Tim also the owns and founded Serve City Volleyball (now 630 Girls) in 2013 and Chicago Sand Volleyball (CSV) in 2017. Serve City grew their program to include 16 girls teams for the 2021-2022 season. They announced in June of 2022 that they would be merging with 630 Volleyball, one of the nation’s largest boys programs. CSV has seen exponential growth and is now the largest boy’s sand program in the country with a girls program quickly approaching the same status. CSV has well over 350 athlete each summer season with numerous national contenders.
Tim graduated from Moody Bible Institute in 2014 with a B.A. in Secondary Education. During his time at Moody Bible, Tim also played on their collegiate Men’s Volleyball Team.
Tim currently resides in Santa Ana, CA with his wife Stephanie and their two daughters.
