Tournament Descriptions
THE POINTS SERIES
The bulk of the season’s tournament participation will take place in the premier league for Boy’s volleyball in the whole Midwest: THE Points Series. This series of tournaments will run through the entirety of the season and feature teams from all over the Midwest. As it is the most competitive and complete competition in the area, it is important to us that we participate. In this series, teams compete over the course of the season to improve their placement within the whole pack — similar to the regular season of a school or professional sport. This creates an especially competitive play between teams.
Midwest Point Series
The Midwest Point Series is returning to our tournament line-up for High School 1s, 2s, and 3s teams. This tournament may be switching to a 3 day format instead of the typical two day format of last year. The possible Midwest Point Series dates and locations that our teams would be attending are undecided at this point, but we will update this page as soon as the information is available. We hope that this tournament continues to offer our top teams an opportunity to compete against the top competition in the Midwest.
Brickyard Battle
The Brickyard Battle is new tournament that has been introduced to us which will take place in Indianapolis, IN, November 23rd - 25th . At this time, we are uncertain which teams will be participating in this tournament, but we can say with certainty that our top teams from each age group will be in consideration to attend. This is shaping up to be a National level tournament, with the best teams from the Midwest, East Coast, and beyond in attendance. We hope to have more details about this tournament soon!
Travel Tournaments
Additionally, all of our teams will participate in travel tournaments. Currently, all teams will participate in both the Chi-Town Boys Challenge at McCormick Place in Downtown Chicago, as well as the Brew City Battle in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Chi-Town Boys Challenge is one of the largest and most competitive tournaments in the country, as the best teams and clubs come from everywhere to participate. The Brew City Battle is one of the best tournaments in the Midwest, giving all of our teams an opportunity to compete with the best of the best from our region and beyond. 1s, 2s, and 3s teams will also participate in the SoCal Cup and the Midwest Point Series, as these tournaments also allow our players to compete against the best athletes from around the nation.
AAU National Championships
The AAU National Championships are the premier competition for all volleyball teams around the country. Since moving from USAV to AAU, the AAU National Championships have grown to greater heights and is now the largest and most competitive tournament of the year. With three different divisions (Open, Premier, and Club), every team has an opportunity to compete for a National Championship at this event. All 1’s, 2’s, and 3’s athletes are required to attend the AAU National Championship in Orlando, Florida.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How does team selection work?
Regardless of early commitment or attending a regular tryout, ALL athletes will be involved in an evaluation period, typically 2-4 weeks long. During that time athletes will be placed on a team based on age & skill level.

In past years, we have included multiple sets of game jerseys and shorts, as well as practice shirts and a set of warm up pants and top in our apparel package. While those items are not final for this year, we expect to offer a comparable set of apparel pieces for the 2024-25 season.

Once accepted into the program, athletes and parents will be invited to join our information platform, PlayMetrics, where practice schedules will populate based on your/your son’s team.
