Middle-school and high-school teams are both full-season club programs. The difference here is the athlete’s grade.

Before your first Boys practice
Complete the form, update attendance and get ready for the gym.
Complete the JVA club commitment
Fill out the Junior Volleyball Association (JVA) form for your athlete and select 630 Volleyball. The club pays for membership; your family completes the form so the athlete can be connected to the club for tournament rosters.
Keep attendance up to date in LeagueApps
Use the account you used to register. LeagueApps is also where families will find schedules and communicate with coaches. Team rosters and schedules will be added after placement. Let the Boys Director know about school-sport conflicts early.
Bring the right ball
Athletes need their Molten FLISTATEC volleyball at practices and tournaments. If you bought a ball through registration, your athlete will receive it at the first practice.
Be ready at your assigned start time
Have shoes and the practice shirt on when practice starts. New athletes can wear a plain shirt in the assigned color until their 630 shirts arrive. If those colors are unavailable, staff will allow flexibility until the shirts are distributed.
What the season involves
One season, with a school-season break.
Practices begin September 15. Club play pauses during the Illinois high-school boys volleyball season. Team placement determines the final practice, travel and Nationals schedule.

Practice groups can change during evaluation
Coaches use roughly six to nine opening practices to evaluate athletes within their positions and in temporary teams. These practice groups are not final team placements. Check the club’s placement update for your athlete’s team and assigned schedule.

What your family arranges separately
Families pay for their own transportation, flights, hotels, meals and other travel costs. These expenses are separate from the tournament fees invoiced by 630. Financing and monthly payment plans are available. Installment amounts and due dates are provided during registration.
Optional team-store gear
The team store offers optional additional and fan gear. Backpacks are optional and are not included in the apparel package.

How tournament details reach your family
BP sends a pre-tournament email with the schedule and location after the organizer releases them. Your athlete’s coach will also share the details. Many schedules use Otto Event; some events use other platforms. Follow the link for your specific event and confirm your team’s plans before booking travel.
Grades 6–8
Middle school boys
Full-season club volleyball for grades 6–8. Team placement determines practice and travel expectations.
Grades 9–12
High school boys
Full-season club volleyball for grades 9–12, with team-level travel and college recruiting support.
Younger athlete? Middle school is the other boys path.
Recruiting support
