Coaching approach

BP sets clear targets for the skills an athlete is developing and uses repetition to build consistency. Once the athlete has a foundation, he uses guided discovery: helping them recognize a problem, test an adjustment, and understand why it works.

Experience

BP brings more than 20 years of coaching experience across high school, club, collegiate, and national levels. He coaches 9-man volleyball with Chicago United and summer camps with Gold Medal Squared. He has also spent nine summers coaching within USA Volleyball’s High Performance Pipeline, now known as the National Team Development Program.
